Born in 1923 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
1949 - A. Azimzadeh State Art College in Baku
1949-1954 - Mirjavadov lived in Leningrad and worked as an unskilled laborer in the Hermitage, where he learned the art of non-Soviet painting from great masters, mostly owing to M.T. Artamonov, the director of Hermitage.
1970 - for the first time participated at art exhibition.
1987 - Governing Body, Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.
1988 – awarded the title of the Honorary Art Worker of Azerbaijan SSR.
The artworks of Javad Mirjavadov are kept in Azerbaijan National Art Museum, Modern Art Museum in Baku, private collections and galleries all over the world, including collections of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Chingiz Aytmatov, Arthur Miller, Tonino Guerra.
